EM: Earnings Matrix Command
EM is the Godel Terminal command for viewing a company's fundamental metric history alongside forward analyst estimates in one matrix.
How to use EM
Security Identifier/Ticker Country/Instrument Asset Class EM
Example: NVDA US EQ EM: shows Nvidia's earnings matrix.
EM is only available for Equities and depositary receipts (EQ, DR, ADR) listed outside Canada.
Metric Dropdown
At the top of the window, choose the metric the matrix is built around:

Values & Growth Tables
| Area | Description |
|---|---|
| Values table | Rows are quarters (Q1-Q4) and an annual total; columns are fiscal years. Historical values use your primary theme color, estimates are off-white, and non-EPS values scale to millions, billions, or trillions. |
| Growth table | The same grid expressed as growth percentages. Use the YoY % Growth / PoP % Growth toggle to switch between year-over-year and period-over-period growth. |
Chart
The chart shows historical values together with estimates across time, matching the selected metric.
- Values Chart / Growth Chart toggle: switch the y-axis between raw values and growth percentages.
- Historical data is rendered in your primary theme color; estimates are rendered in light gray (legend underneath).
Multiples Table
Underneath the chart, the multiples table shows valuation ratios:
