HCP: Historical Change % Command
HCP is the Godel Terminal command for viewing a daily table of historical price changes for a security: one row per trading day with absolute change, percent change, and full OHLCV.
How to use HCP
Security Identifier/Ticker Country/Instrument Asset Class HCP
Example: NVDA US EQ HCP: daily change table for Nvidia.
Date Range
Use the Date Range with Period Dropdown in the top toolbar to control which window of history is loaded:
- Pick a preset: 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y
- Or enter a custom range by setting explicit start and end dates
The QuickQuote chip on the right of the toolbar shows the live price of the current ticker.
Display Columns

Values rounded to 2 decimals by default; very small values fall back to scientific notation.

The table loads 100 rows at a time. Scroll to the bottom to pull the next page into view.
