EQS: Equity Screener Command
Under active development. EQS is in beta, and more filters are coming soon.
EQS is the Godel Terminal command for screening the global equity universe on valuation, fundamentals, size, and classification criteria.
How to use EQS
Command:
EQS
Building a screen
Open the Search fields dropdown at the top of the filter panel and type to find the field you want, then select it to add it as a filter. Add as many as you need: each one stacks in the panel and narrows the universe further. Use the x next to a filter to remove it.
Fields come in two kinds:
- Range filters take a minimum, a maximum, or both. These cover Market Cap and the valuation and per-share metrics, each available on a forward and a trailing basis: P/E (Fwd) and P/E (TTM), P/S (Fwd) and P/S (TTM), P/B (Fwd) and P/B (TTM), P/CF (Fwd) and P/CF (TTM), plus EPS (Fwd 12mo) and Rev. (Fwd 12mo, USD). For example, set P/E (Fwd) to a range of 5 to 10, or Market Cap to a minimum of 10B.
- List filters let you pick one or more values from a searchable menu: Venue, HQ Country, Sector, and Sub-Sector. For instance, limit Venue and HQ Country to the United States.
Currency sets the currency used for value-based fields and columns.
Toggle Show primary listings only to collapse cross-listings to a single line, and Hide results with no trades to drop untraded names. Click Run to screen the universe, or Clear to reset every filter. Matches appear in the results table on the right, where Export to Excel saves the set as CSV or JSON.
